Ubuntu is an operating system with Linux kernel based on Debian and distributed as free and open source software. it's one of the most popular operating system for desktop and server. also ubuntu runs on phone.
Development of Ubuntu is led by UK-based canonical Ltd. a company owned by south African entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth, Canonical generates revenue through the sale of technical support and other services related to Ubuntu.
The Ubuntu project is publicly committed to the principles of open source software development, people are encouraged to use free software, study how it works, improve upon it, and distribute it.

in this page I'll give you a step by step how to install Ubuntu for beginner. This works on ubuntu 14.04 and higher.

Preparation :

  1. Download Ubuntu File from Ubuntu.com
  2. Create Bootable USB using rufus (windows), Unetbootin (windows, linux, mac)
Get Started :
  1. Insert Bootable USB and set bios first boot in usb
  2. When you'r brought into Ubuntu Live System with Installation Wizard (You May click installing on desktop), choose your language and click "Install Ubuntu" Button
  3. If you have internet connected, you can check "Download update while installing" and "Install this third-part software" but it takes time. Skip them and you can install after Ubuntu installation.
  4. At this step you have a few choice :
    • Erase All data on your device and install only Ubuntu system on it. This makes only one partition on your disk for Ubuntu. This is a good choice for installing Ubuntu Guest using Vmware and VirtualBox.
    • Install Ubuntu alongside Windows 8 or something else. non-windows 8 partition will be erased for Ubuntu
    • Something else. Choose this one, if you want to manually partition your hard disk
  5. if you choose "Something Else" in previous, you'll get following partition table. In the picture /dev/sda is my hard drive. if you have other driver, it will be shown as /sda/sdb, /dev/sdc, and so on.    For ubuntu installation you need :
    • primary partition use as Ext4, mount point "/"
    • Logical Partition use as Swap. size of swap max 2x RAM.
  6. Following the wizard to setup user account, location, timezone, and etc.
  7. while installation was done click "Restart" button and remove Bootable USB
 Congratulation..
